Did you know. . . ?

...that the retail shop only provides 50% of the revenues needed to keep Bear's Mill open?
...that the rest of the money needed to keep Bear's Mill open to the public must come from our community's support of donations, memberships and volunteer time?
...that Bear's Mill is operated by a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization?
...that Bear's Mill is on the National Register of Historic Places?
...that it has been designated by our federal government as a qualified historic location worthy of being preserved and cherished?
...that even though the Mill is on the National Register of Historic Places, it is not protected by the federal government?
...that Bear's Mill (built in 1849) is a very authentic working mill from its time?
...that we have tour packages for groups and free self guided tours for everyone that comes in?
...that we are always looking for people to donate money and time?
